Sheraton Hotel Abu Dhabi was built in 1979. More services and facilities include a fully equipped business centre, a fully equipped health club with fitness & aerobic studio, squash courts, juice bar, steam room, sauna, massage and rooftop tennis courts. Further a three tiered outdoor swimming pool, dault pool with pool bar, family pool with beach area and covered children’s pool. Watersports are also available with qualified instructors.

The very large lobby has beige marble flooring, with a white ceiling and attractive glass lights. Plants are dotted around the lobby, giving the area a fresh feeling. Plenty of bamboo wicker casual seating is available. The hotel exterior is of a light sandstone colour in an interesting design, which resembles a large sandcastle.

The large rooms are well decorated in a variety of colours and kept in exceptional condition. Colour schemes vary but all are very tasteful. Furniture is of a classic contemporary style. The light marble bathrooms are kept in good condition.All rooms have individually controlled air-conditioning, direct dial telephone with message alert and bathroom extensions, voice mail, satellite TV, radio, mini fridge and electronic safe. Non-smoking and wheelchair accessible rooms are also available.

The various restaurant outlets offer a good selection of cuisine in relaxed surroundings. The hotel has an Asian restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a restaurant which serves New Orleans style dishes, an Iranian restaurant, a Mexican restaurant and a well known Chinese restaurant.
